André Malraux and his Imaginary Museum

Imaginary Museum
It is thanks to the French writer André Malraux that the concept of an Imaginary Museum came into being. For Malraux such a museum would be an eclectic collection of works of all origins (geographic and temporal) and styles.
Beyond good and evil, time and space, this is how Malraux wanted the imaginary museum to be.
This imaginary museum doesn't claim to gather the best works of art of all times, it doesn't aim at providing people with information on the artists, it's more like an old and dusty grimoire that you would find in the attic of your grandma, full of strange names and strange colours that would deliciously appeal to your inner magic.
